I have the same question. Is there any way to run my strategy on the server?

Strategies can only be executed on the client's machine at this time. We may consider adding the server side execution some time in the future.

You can get a hosted server or VPS (Virtual Private Server). They are managed by a hosting company and you basically remote into the machine. Prices vary but it's worth it so you can connect to your machine from anywhere.

I have a managed server that I'm using to run some apps I need to have up 24x7 and I frankly like not having to worry about rebooting, power outages, or internet loss. The data center takes care of all that.

Lately I've been running my demo forex account on there.

You might be able to find VPS and hosted servers starting at $50.00 per month. A good one will typically set you back a couple hundred bucks a month. Let me know if you find a better deal!

Great idea, Gregor! I cannot say anything about other users, but I will definitely consider it

so what about minimum ram for vps server ?

coz actfx program consume huge ram which burn my pc  ( 2.5 giga )  power supply lately due to heavy strategy test

i am planning to subscripe with one of these plans : http://www.vpsland.com/windowsplans.html

but what is the best ram to run actfx strategy in vps without problems with low cost

since if the stop or limit not executed correctely the account maybe will hit the margin

http://www.seflow.net/fastserver/
This guys sell dedicated blade servers (I said VPS, I was wrong) at nice price, I've bought 3 months ago this one:

Intel 1,66Ghz - 1 core 50 GB 1024 MB

But in the last 3 months they added another good option for what we need (fastserver HD), better than the one I own:

Intel 1,66Ghz - 1 core 25 GB 1536 MB

at the same price. So you'll have 1.5gb ram.
