Often we like to use an indicator in a standard way. Consider a SMA of 20.

Normally, when the price crosses above the SMA, we Buy. When it crosses below the SMA, we Sell.

How about Buying if the current close is greater than the previous close, and Selling if the current close is less than the previous close?

Or try combining the standard usage with that just mentioned above:
Buy when the current SMA becomes greater than the previous SMA at the same time the price is above the SMA. Close this when the price drops below the SMA, or when the current SMA becomes less than the previous SMA.
Sell when the current SMA becomes less than the previous SMA at the same time the price is below the SMA. Close this when the price rises above the SMA, or when the current SMA becomes greater than the previous SMA.

This concept can be used with many indicators.

Hi, black!

Interesting idea. Maybe it would be more useful to add a script?

Best regards!

if (MA.Graph.Last(1) > MA.Graph.Last(2))
---------- BUY ----------
---------- CLOSE OPEN SELL ----------

if (MA.Graph.Last(1) < MA.Graph.Last(2))
---------- SELL ----------
---------- CLOSE OPEN BUY ----------

OR

if (MA.Graph.Last(1) > MA.Graph.Last(2))
and (MA.Graph.Last(1) > History.Last(1).Close)
---------- BUY ----------
---------- CLOSE OPEN SELL ----------

if (MA.Graph.Last(1) < MA.Graph.Last(2))
and (MA.Graph.Last(1) < History.Last(1).Close)
---------- SELL ----------
---------- CLOSE OPEN BUY ----------
