Trading is an art And indicators help to increase the probability, but do not give you the guarantee.

Best regards

When the system is created, you need to test it to see how it works. It is relatively long process, but it is fun

You can take two movings, one with a short period, let it be 10 days and another one with long — 20 days.
When the moving with a short period crosses the other one from above, it is a signal to sell, when from below - to buy. But it is only an example and I don't recommend you to blindly follow it

The neverending quest for the holy grail.

The best indicator is the one that works, for you!

I like MACD. Love/hate Stochastics. Lately the ROC interests me!
Moving Averages are a given.

Happy Pipping!

I don't know very well some complex indicators like Ichimoku, but sometimes your eyes could help you.

For example try to combine 2 or more indicators and see if when both of them give you a signal, the price really goes in that direction. Nothing works all the time obviously but a combination of indicators can give you an higher percentage of success.

Some of my first combination where:

Moving Average and MACD
RSI and MACD
Moving Average (or MACD) + RSI + Bollinger

As you can see the most used for me is the MACD, expecially with forex! I suggest you to try it not only with the standard setting 12, 26, 9 but with other (one is 50, 100, 9)

All the best
